![]() ![]() Guaranteed to put a Beak Thing down in seconds with just one man, and best still: the absolute unit reloads like it’s just only loading ONE ARROW in the chamber! (archers may still need to be as skilled in using the crossbows to reload them more efficiently). Mk I have the brilliant use of firing 3 at rapid succession, whilst it’s bigger brother: the Mk II, fires a whopping 6 at speeds likened to those stationary Multi-Barrel Harpoon Gun I alluded to earlier. ![]() What makes these weapons of mass destruction different than any other bog-standard Old-World Crossbow? The velocity of these arrows are faster from the stronger cords, along with greater minimal range for even your shoddy remakes, and the biggest appeal: they shoot more arrows than the tedious one-at-a-time you’ve grown accustomed to. The Oldworld Repeating Crossbows mod will scratch that itch with two crossbows (using the same skins as Mk I and Mk II Oldworlds respectively, I’m not an modeller by any means) which you can buy at any high-value Crossbow shop for the same price as their single-shot counterparts (blueprints sold separately… if they work, not quite had full time to test it out outside a quick sandbox test)! Just look for the "(Burst)" at the end of the crossbow’s name to tell you got the right crossbow. Have you ever played Kenshi, loved it’s Harpoon turrets, found out that those very turrets also come with Dual-Barrel and Multi-Barrel variants, and went "Gee, I would love to have that as a handheld variant!" in order to scare off a pack of vicious Beak Things and rampaging Gorillos? Well have I a deal for you! ![]()
