It 'stuck' a little better after about 100 miles, but it's still lumpy. The hand glued tread is, indeed, hand glued. The bad: The construction was a little shaky. They're also the most comfortable tires I've ever ridden (you'll read why later). It's very thin, though, so I doubt it would take much to puncture it, I would think. It seems pretty light, and I raced it in the rain a few times, and no punctures and no handling issues. It was noticeably lower (I can't remember by how much, but it was quite a bit-and I compared to the fasted tire on that list-the exact tire, because it's my tire!). Using the roller test method, it tested faster than the faster tire on this list here: The good: It's the fastest rolling tire I've ever used, or tested. I've used a pair of the Challenge Elite clincher. Please inform me about their performance? Is there anybody on the Forum/board that has experience with these clinchers? This also comes with an anti puncture layer. This is a pretty light clincher at 205 grams (15-20 grams lighter then Michelin pro2race) and 260tpi it should be offering a smooth ride. Only 195 grams (about the same as the Veloflex Black) and 300tpi! (nice specs!) That should offer a really smooth ride. This is a light tire with a anti puncture layer. The clincher: Challenge Criterium Nerone? I found a few interesting products on their website and I am wondering do you have experience with the following Clinchers? I recently learned that the Clement company is taken over, and is called Challenge nowadays. Nowadays I don't ride tubular anymore I ride clinchers and prefer the Veloflex Black (they wear out pretty fast but ride like a dream) in dry weather and Michelin Pro2Race in the rain. In my old racing days I was fond of Clement Criterium and Clement Criterium seta tubes.
